Making waves in the natural skincare market
Sereia Skincare is a body and skincare brand that launched in May 2022.
The range of natural, marine inspired skin and body care was born out of questions posed by real women with the real skin concerns that come from living real lives.
Sereia is a celebration of real skin through self-care rituals that help everyone feel great inside and out.
the job
We were tasked with developing a full brand identity and brand story for the range, defining hero creative, creating the brand’s Shopify website and designing branded content
and creative campaigns deployed across digital, print and social media.
We took inspiration from the range’s marine-inspired ingredients and Portuguese namesake (meaning mermaid), to develop a brand that, like the sea, feels both powerful and calm and possesses a strong sense of femininity. We created a brand identity and hero creative style that complements the products’ vivid blue frosted glass containers.
our approach
The sea is at the heart of Sereia Skincare’s brand story, intertwined with a strong message of feminine body positivity that embraces the beauty of ‘real skin’.
We designed a packaging concept around this brand story, creating boxes that extol empowering messages of self-love overlaid on a marbled background to represent the beauty of nature’s imperfections and unpredictability.
We continued to develop creative marketing tools, sales materials, packaging, digital content and campaign activations for the brand to support the client in reaching their goals.

The skincare range is powered by 100% natural ingredients. With this is mind we visualise Sereia’s ingredients wherever we can, giving customers a sense of the products’ origins and creating transparency.
A key ingredient is seaweed extract, which inspired our creative direction for Sereia Skincare’s photoshoots. One location shoot took place on a north Yorkshire beach, renowned for its amazing rockpools.
