EJD Forestry Ltd is a forest management company with offices in Yorkshire and Scotland.
The company has been established for over 30 years, and has a trusted reputation for providing professional forest asset management and investment advice to owners and investors throughout the UK.
the job
EJDF approached Westbrook in June 2023 in need of a brand and website. Our brief for the brand was to reflect the way that EJDF combines innovative technology and decades of forestry expertise to deliver deep data analysis and investment advice.
our approach
We drew inspiration from topography and the beauty of tree rings, and married these natural references with the graphic sunburst treemaps that EJDF uses to visualise data.
A harmonious colour palette of greens, inspired by the forest, formed the basis of three sub-brands: Forest Management, Investment Appraisal and Data Analysis.

The concept behind the Bee Kitchens brand was the worker bee – the bee that carries out the majority of tasks needed for the functioning of the hive, and a symbol now synonymous with Manchester, the city in which Bee Kitchens is founded.
The brand we delivered caught the attention of national dark kitchen groups.
