Be curious as a fox: Why a good brand leader is a curious one

Earlier this year, following our other work across the fashion and textiles industry, we were asked to support the Evo Fashion programme as Brand & Communications mentors. Evo Fashion is four-month experiential programme for emerging fashion brands and fashion technology businesses. It takes a holistic approach to guiding early-stage businesses on strategy, environmental and social […]

Black Friday 2025: What’s the deal?

For us as creatives and brand specialists, Black Friday is in many ways our SuperBowl – we grab the popcorn and get ready to unpick the strategies and creativity behind the approaches of our favourite brands-to-watch. The Human Touch: How luxury brands are responding to AI with artisanal originality

As artificial intelligence reshapes the creative landscape across all industries, we’ve spotted an unexpected counter-movement emerging within some of luxury fashion’s most prestigious halls. Rather than surrendering to algorithmic efficiency, marquee brands like Hermès, Burberry and Lacoste are doubling down on what machines cannot replicate: the irreplaceable touch of human artistry. This reaction represents more […]

Small marketing teams are drowning – the right brand agency can throw them a lifeline

It’s approaching 5:00PM on a Tuesday, and Alex, marketing manager at a fast-growing fashion brand, is juggling her fifteenth “urgent” request of the day. For those who have not caught this flick, it is highly recommended, if not for the various acting triumphs, then at least for its historic significance. Now this isn’t a sappy film review as such, think more along the lines of a time for recognition and perhaps some re-thinking.

People count

Recent research showed… (now I know many will wince at a post that starts like this but bear with me, it’s pretty interesting…) that shoppers were actively avoiding the wave of self-serve checkouts and online automation that appeared in favour of staffed stores. The report noted that consumers actually value the tactile experience and human […]
